Volunteers receive a free Shad Fest T-Shirt and other surprises.

The Lambertville Shad Fest is organized and run by an all-volunteer team who begin work over a year before the festival takes place. Thanks to their tireless efforts, Shad Fest is personal and local, working to “bring it home” for our local community and invite others to be a part of us for a day or two.

Not only does it take volunteers to plan and prepare for Shad Fest, but it takes a lot of extra smiles on Shad Fest weekend to assist with check-ins, parking, booth set up and tear down, children’s activities, tee shirt sales, traffic management, and cleanup. Without all of our friends from the Delaware River area, Shad Fest would not be possible.
