Poster Auction
Each year local artists donate original works of art, which the public purchases through an auction to fund two $10,000 scholarships given to local students pursing a college degree in the fine, performing, or culinary arts.
The posters will be on display during ShadFest™️️ at the First Presbyterian Church (27 N Union St, Lambertville, NJ). All proceeds from the ShadFest™️️Art Auction go to the Jim Hamilton ShadFest Scholarship Fund. https://www.shadfestposters.org/about.html
If you’re an artist, we would love to have you participate. Watercolors, oil paintings, collage, quilting, acrylic paintings, photography, sculptures, jewelry, and more are all welcome. Each artwork is created on a standard 11 x 17 archival quality board. You must have a specially designed ShadFest™️️board to participate. The boards are available beginning in February. More information here: https://www.shadfestposters.org/
If you’re an art lover, we need you to buy art! Decorate your home, your office, your garage, or your garden while also funding the next generation of artists in the Delaware River Valley.
If you’re a graduating senior who lives in the South Hunterdon High School or New Hope-Solebury High School districts and you’re going to college to purse a degree in the fine, performing, or culinary arts, you are eligible to apply for the Jim Hamilton Memorial ShadFest Scholarship.
This scholarship has been given significant financial support from the Friends of Ely Park, a non-profit founded by Mr. Hamilton for the purpose of revitalizing Lambertville’s only dedicated green space and to make it safer, more welcoming, and user-friendly.
